HIGH POINT WATER SKI CLUB

The Club

"The Club" - Started in 1975, the High Point Water Ski Club is a group of water skiers interested in promoting the sport of water skiing with an emphasis on safety and tournament slalom skiing. We accomplish this by sponsoring nationally sanctioned tournaments; nationally sanctioned officials clinics for judges, drivers, scorers and safety personnel; and occasionally formal ski clinics for improving slalom skiing skills. High Point Water Ski Club members ski at John's Lake, a private lake used for training and tournaments located in Wantage, NJ. Club members are nationally ranked on the AWSA national standings list for competitive slalom skiing.
Our goals are simple.

Everyone who skis at John's Lake or participates in skiing activities in any capacity, on or off the water, is required to have an Active (Insured) membership in USA Water Ski, and sign a HPWS Club Waiver .

Membership

HPWSC boasts a very small membership of compatible slalom skiers of all levels. Club members help with site maintenance and running tournaments. Everyone has and/or is working toward officials ratings. All members are active members of USA Water Ski. If you are interested in being considered for membership, please speak with Doug Benedetti at the site or .

On occasion, guests of members are invited to ski at John's Lake. Skiing guests MUST be active members of AWSA (USA Water Ski) and MUST complete a HPWS Club Waiver. Guests will pay $20 per slalom set or skiing equivalent.
